Within the September holidays i started my general design of how i wanted my program to look and operate. Through those holidays i used Microsoft Power point to create my draft GUI designs. As of today i worked on them again. These are still drafts and the colour scheme may still change depending on Visual Basic's colours scheme.

From creating the GUI designs over the holidays i learnt about the use of white space. I have implemented good white space throughout my designs, trying not to overpopulate each form while still using an efficient amount of space. I have also considered making certain buttons larger then others, as there process leads to another form instead of in form decisions. My colour designs where decided upon by an interview and Questionnaire with my client (Mum), throughout the interview i learnt what good and bad questions are to ask your client.

As part of the Year 12 Software course I have to complete a major work. For this major work i have to create a piece of software that suits a range of deign specifications. As of the September holidays I have decided to create that piece of software based on a Quoting and Invoicing System for a small business. The client for this project is to be my mother and the system will be based on wedding creations in which she creates, sells and hires out to customers.

Yesterday and Today i have set out my Major
Portfolio with Headings and Sub headings, i have created the project and named it and i have also completed my initial and first Gantt Chart.
