As of 10.30 i have finished my Software Major Project!! In the last week i have dedicated an enormous amount of time and effort to the major ensuring i completed all the tasks required to the best of my ability. In the last week i finished off my source code and testing with my major project. By testing the project i found little errors that i managed to fix to make the program of high quality and high functionality. This week i have also redone my User Interface Designs in Microsoft Powerpoint, completed my flowchart, in-depth documentation of source code, completed my maintenance question, completed the user manual, finished the User Interface Development section and completed my data dictionary. I have also updated and finished my flowcharts, puesdocode statements, IPO chart, Context Diagram, Data Flow Diagram, Structure Chart, System Flow Chart and test data table fully completing my Major Project. I plan to change my folio and user manual to a PDF for printing tomorrow handing the project in by 3.25pm.
This week i have learnt so many skills from the updating and completing of all aspects of my project. By doing this i have to review all the parts of the structured approach and i now believe i have a strong knowledge of this approach and a much greater understanding of coding. I also believe my coding skills have improved and i now know how string processing works and how to code it.
Within my program i must acknowledge all the help i received from Mr Chapman, without his help it is clear my project would not be finished and i thank him very much for all he has taught me. I also must acknowledge the two websites in which i searched and borrowed code off. These are https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb629268.aspx and http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24600079/how-can-i-save-listbox-items-into-a-string.
Here is the finished context diagram, data flow diagram, structure chart, system flowchart and the algorithms i have added/edited since my last blog post on system modelling tools. There is also screenshots of the completed source code in which string pressing was used. These algorithms where the ones i struggled with the most, but with the help of Mr Chapman i overcame the problems and finished these algorithms
.
